Job Description
Zenon Aviation is pleased to be supporting a well-established long haul and regional ACMI carrier in their search for an experienced Maintenance Planning Manager to work a 6 -12 month contract based in Eastern Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for the fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to optimize aircraft utilization and minimize downtime.
• Efficiently allocate manpower, tools, and materials to support scheduled maintenance activities.
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required spare parts and materials.
• Utilize data analytics tools to assess aircraft performance, reliability, and maintenance trends.
• Generate regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and suggesting improvements.
• Stay updated on aviation regulations and industry best practices.
• Ensure that all maintenance planning activities adhere to regulatory requirements and are in line with the company's safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the maintenance planning function.
• Implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.

Minimum Requirements:
• Extensive experience in a senior planning role
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, airworthiness standards, and industry practices.
• Expert in Maintenance Program development and the analysis of the effectiveness
• Knowledge of EASA Part CAMO, Part 145, and MSG-3 principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Can work under pressure to react to operational requirements and time constraints
• Has the ability to write and produce detailed technical and investigation reports both internally and to external regulatory agencies
• Desire to succeed in improving technical performance
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ACMI operations
• Part 66 B1 or B2 AML holder is desirable but not essential
