Andrew Middleton, MD, was announced today as a panellist for GATE 2012.

GATE (Gulf Aviation Training Event) will be held Sunday 16th and Monday 17th September 2012 in Dubai, near Dubai International Airport.

GATE is a fantastic opportunity for aviation experts to meet, network and discuss challenges, explore solutions and develop Middle East aviation training. It brings together top air transport flight training professionals.

The Summit Director, Captain Ed Davidson, Senior Vice President, Aerospace Practice, Tetra Tech AMT., will attend on the Monday to address the issues raised in GATE 2011 Memorandum and address the need for flight crew and training in the MENA region – a forecasted figure of 36,600 new pilots and 53,000 new skilled maintenance staff by 2030.

The two days are full of conference sessions with Keynotes and speakers who give great insight into the emerging trends. The theme this year is “Breaking the Paradigms: Aviation Training at $150 a Barrel”.

There is also the opportunity to visit or have exhibit stands to showcase products and promote brand awareness.
