Zenon partners with Etihad for Pilot Recruitment

As it gears up for a significant fleet expansion, Etihad Airways (Etihad) has engaged with Zenon as its Exclusive Partner for pilot recruitment.  The three-year contract, won after an extensive tender process, commences this month.

Etihad turned to Zenon, professional recruiter of aviation personnel globally, as it implements its ‘Journey 2030’ strategy, focused on doubling passenger numbers to 38 million annually and strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global aviation hub.   To keep pace with its expanding fleet, Etihad is looking to welcome more than 100 new pilots by the end of 2025, and a further 300 to 400 pilots through 2026.

Zenon will help Etihad to secure a mix of Direct Entry Captains and First Officers for the Airbus A321LR along with Direct Entry Captains for the B777.

During the tender process Zenon advised on market trends and outlined strategic advice on pilot recruitment.
