Zenon are delighted to be supporting a long term client with an exciting opportunity that has arisen for an experienced and commercially driven Director of Sales to join a well-established and highly regarded business aviation organisation within the UAE.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic client relationships, and expanding aircraft management and charter opportunities across the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping commercial strategy whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities within the private aviation sector.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • The development and execution strategic sales and business development plans to support company growth objectives
  • Identifying, developing and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients and key industry stakeholders
  • The Generation and negotiation of new business opportunities across aircraft management, charter and related aviation services
  • Growing and maintaining an existing portfolio of key accounts whilst identifying new revenue streams
  • Leading complex commercial negotiations and proposals through to successful completion
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business expansion
  • Working collaboratively with internal departments to ensure exceptional client service delivery
  • Providing regular reporting and commercial performance updates to senior leadership
  • Supporting the development of marketing initiatives and strategic business plans

Minimum Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience within a business aviation environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Middle Eastern private aviation market
  • Proven track record in business development, sales growth and account management
  • Experience within aircraft management, charter sales or VIP aviation services
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate and close high-value agreements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
  • Degree qualified in Business Management, Aviation or a related discipline preferred
  • Arabic language skills would be advantageous but are not essential
