Zenon is delighted to be seeking expressions of interest from Deputy CAMO Manager’s for a unique opportunity based in the Middle East on a permanent basis.
Confirmation of the project start date are yet to be confirmed however we are looking to identify suitable candidates as soon as is possible.
The successful candidate will have had previous experience of working within a VIP /Executive Jet environment, will deputise for the CAMO Nominated Postholder as required.
This is a key regulatory and operational role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with regulators, maintenance organisations and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:-
- The supervision of the maintenance activities performed by the contracted maintenance organizations
- The evaluation, recommendation, and instruction on the implementation of regulatory requirements and Manufacturers recommendations including support of the implementation phase
- Provide recommendations for aircraft and equipment modification programs and monitor their effectiveness
- The active involvement in the establishment, revision, and optimization of maintenance programs
- The tracking and evaluating reliability data of systems, structure, and components.
- Recommendation of appropriate corrective/mitigating actions
- The support systems, components and structures defect assessments and rectification
Minimum Skills and Experience:-
- Completed engineering or technical training in the field of mechanical engineering, preferably in aerospace or electrical engineering, or qualified as an aircraft mechanic or electrician with several years of professional experience.
- Extensive technical knowledge and several years of professional experience in the maintenance of aircraft in the maintenance area / overhaul area
- Knowledge of AMOS is a plus
- Knowledge of aircraft and maintenance documentation including FAA, GCAA and EASA CAR, Part M, Part 21 and Part 145 are essential
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential
