Zenon are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a very well-established VVIP Operator based in the Middle East for Airframe/Powerplant Systems Engineers on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuing airworthiness of the client’s fleet by evaluating the findings from maintenance layovers with the requirements of the AMP. This will include the results from fuel and oil samples and unexpected findings from routine inspections. Initiate actions by proposing AMP changes, changing company procedures, creating modifications or initiating changes with OEMs and vendors.
  • Continuously monitor the changes in safety and reliability applicable to the allocated aircraft by analysing technical, cabin and ground logbooks, ECM reports, FDR reports, oil consumption or any other information available.
  • Design and propose technical solutions to maintain the achieved levels of safety and reliability. Monitor any event-based reliability issues and associated regulatory authority or clients’ requirements.
  • Ensure deferred defects are rectified within an appropriated time frame by monitoring and prioritising them with the Senior Manager Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Maintain and amend CMP documents to show compliance with ETOPS requirements for the allocated aircraft.
  • Recommend AAR, SB, SL, etc. implementation from the technical point of view by reviewing documents (e.g. ECOS, TDR) obtained from support organisations and information provided by Technical Support Engineers.
  • Recommend implementation of retrofits from the technical point of view based on company modification policy.
  • Investigate and resolves technical aircraft problems, findings and documentation (AMM, IPC, SB, EC, Task Cards, etc.) inconsistencies with vendors/OEMs and MROs or by own experience and knowledge.
  • Support licensed engineers during trouble shooting, AOGs and layovers (also worldwide).

To be considered for this opportunity, you should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Engine and Power Plant as a systems or support engineer
