AW169 B1.3 Engineer

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our clients team, starting in mid-February 2025. This role offers a chance to work on a challenging and rewarding project in the Lancashire area, with the potential for extension beyond the initial two-month period.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, inspecting, and certifying the AW169 helicopter to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Working within a professional and supportive environment, you will contribute to the operational readiness of our fleet and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on the AW169 in accordance with company procedures, regulations, and manufacturers’ instructions.
• Certify all maintenance activities as per UKCAA regulations.
• Troubleshoot and rectify defects efficiently to minimize aircraft downtime.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping in line with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other engineers and departments to deliver operational excellence.
• Maintain an exceptional standard of safety and quality in all tasks performed.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications and experience:

• UKCAA B1.3 License with a current type rating on the AW169.
• Extensive experience in rotary aircraft maintenance, including troubleshooting and fault rectification.
• Strong understanding of UKCAA regulations and airworthiness requirements.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and operational demands.

Contract Details:

• Base Location: Lancashire
• Start Date: Mid-February 2025.
• Duration: 2 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
