We are delighted to be supporting a well-established air charter and management service provider to source a Deputy Ground Operations Manager on a permanent basis based in the Mediterranean.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all scheduled flights are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Address and resolve any interruptions to the planned flight schedule as quickly and effectively as possible.
- Carry out accurate flight planning, including preparation of flight documentation, flight plans, overflight and diplomatic clearances, and any other required briefing materials for both daily operations and future planning.
- Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager regarding daily operational activities.
- Take responsibility for a range of operational projects within the flight operations function, including but not limited to the Emergency Response Plan, Operations Manuals, audits, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure appropriate actions are implemented within the department following audits or inspections.
- In the event of an accident or incident, initiate and follow company procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all Operations Department resources and equipment, including computer and communication systems, are used properly and efficiently.
- Ensure pre-flight documentation is prepared and delivered to the flight crew in a timely manner, typically at least two hours prior to departure.
- Carry out administrative tasks to confirm that all supporting documentation for flights is accurate and properly recorded.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management on an ad hoc basis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Three (3) years relevant experience, within Ground Operations.
- Working experience within an EASA regulatory environment is essential
