Operations Controller

Job Description

Zenon is currently supporting a well established airline in Switzerland, to find an Operations Controller. The role will be based within the Operations Control Centre, responsible for coordinating daily flight operations, short term planning and support on time performance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:-
• Coordinating and planning daily flight operations
• React to any operational abnormalities
• Create operational flight plans
• Submit ATC flight plans and coordinate with ATC regarding slots
• Weather & NOTAM analysis
• Crew control
• Liaise with various departments within the business, such as maintenance and flight deck and cabin crew.
• Liaise with airports, ATC, and handling agents
• Provide administrative support within the ground operations team (scheduling, fuel requests, overflight/landing permissions etc)
• Arrange charter flights and coordinate with other stakeholders

Minimum Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Flight operations of dispatcher license would be advantageous
• Computer literacy
• Ability to speak German would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills and detail orientated
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and planning skills

Shifts – Early and late. No night shifts.
