Maintenance Manager

Job Description

Zenon is delighted to be supporting a fast expanding and very well-established rotary wing operator and maintenance provider to recruit a Maintenance Manager for the HQ based in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be overall responsible for the company’s operating base for aircraft maintenance activities, on time scheduled maintenance inputs and aircraft availability.

Job Purpose: -

•Responsibility for the company’s operating base for aircraft maintenance activities.

Responsibilities: -

•Ensure the required engineering standards, aircraft maintenance documentation completion, Part 145 facilities are maintained.
•Attend daily ops and weekly planning meetings to report on hangar maintenance activities, advising on specific manning, tooling, test equipment and parts requirements.
•Ensure unserviceable components are processed in a timely manner, coordinated with Logistics for return to main stores/OEM Vendor to avoid financial penalty delays for PBH components.
•Promote SMS reporting using safety management systems in place.
•Provide oversight of engineering safety, use of PPE and its availability
•Ensure FOD control measures are implemented by Part 145 Staff
•Audit the hangar facilities, including HESS inspections and report deficiencies through the safety management system.
•Promote compliance with the RSQCM, GMM and TODPM Work Instructions.
•Perform hands on duties when needed and required.
•Perform staff appraisals, identify, and coordinate staff training needs.
•Monitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance, coaching or training to direct subordinates in performing their delegated duties
•Optimize the use of personal and team time/effort in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality
•Ensure continuous monitoring of trends in the market and provide advice to management on potential initiatives

Minimum Skills and Experience: -

•Equivalent GACA/EASA/FAA/ICAO Type II License
•Bachelor’s degree is preferred
•At least 7 years of experience in a relevant role
•Hold a current AW139 or H145 TR
•Previous Supervisory experience
•Previous use of THC or Equivalent maintenance forecasting systems
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
