Job Description
Zenon are pleased to be supporting the worlds largest aviation component service provider, to source an MRO Executive (Technical Team), on a permanent basis in the South East of the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing both analysis, and technical support for the business, under the direction of the Technical Manager to develop technical solutions to align with business requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:-
• To develop technical support to meet both internal and external requirements
• Assist MRO Team Leaders to ensure suppliers meet the required standards (quality & reliability)
• Control technical library/data
• Support MRO with the analysis of quotations & trends
• Provide recommendations for rogue units
• Work with MRO function on warranty analysis
• Assist with reviews, implementation and development of customer driven technical policies
• Assist team leaders with technical input which relates to both new and existing projects
• Contribute to the development of new procedures
• Liaise with management to develop technical support through the entirety of the business
• Adhere to Export Control regulations

Minimum skills & experience –
• Essential - A-levels (A-C)
• University degree or similar level advantageous
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience gained within an aircraft component, MRO or trading environment
• Previous practical experience within a maintenance or component repair environment is desirable
• Knowledge of Airline operational restrictions & allowable defects
• Knowledge/understanding of AMM, CMM, MEL and IPC
• Experience using databases, such as Quantum advantageous
• Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge
• Analytical thinker with a competent ability in producing and evaluating data / running reports
• Strong organisation & problem solving skills
• Ability to use initiative & succeed within a busy environment
• Numerate & good attention to detail
• Ability to travel as and when required
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Strong & professional telephone skills
• Ability to multi-task & meet deadlines
• Flexibility with working hours
• Knowledge of Export and Import procedures and controls
