Job Description
Zenon is delighted to be commissioned by a VIP maintenance organisation to source a Supply Chain Manager on a permanent basis for their facilities based in Biggin Hill Airport.


Job Purpose:-
• Responsible for all aspects of managing material and tooling, movement and storage in compliance with regulatory standards and the structure required to ensure this.
• Ensures the appearance and presentation of the department are in line with the client and customer expectations.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Reports directly to the General Manager.
• Accountable for all supply chain activity.
• Responsible for the development and improvement plan of the supply chain.
• Responsible for developing supplier network to ensure an efficient supply of goods.
• Responsible for developing a robust shipping network to ensure a cost-effective shipping service.
• Responsible for the management and oversight of all imported goods.
• Manages correct and timely procurement and/or loan of parts, tooling and equipment.
• Ensures that all associated paperwork/certification (traceability) is present, correct displayed and available.
• Manages parts/tooling priorities.
• Tracks and chases all material/tooling/equipment orders to ensure on time availability.
• Maintains regulatory compliance.
• Tracks all ‘core’ parts to ensure no charges incurred due to late return.
• Ensures work area and facility are kept well presented.
• Liaise with finance/accounts to ensure all invoices for parts are managed and controlled.
• Ensures that all parts are associated with the correct work packages and job numbers to easy invoicing and ensure correct billing.
• Supports OEM warranty claims and ensures that correct information is passed internally.
• Supports the company in the development of continuous improvement, EH&S and any strategic project defined by the General Manager.
• Carries out any reasonable task issued by the General Manager (or nominated deputy).



Minimum Skills and Experience:-

• Previous experience of working managing a stores environment.
• Previous experience of communicating with customers and HNWIs.
• Computer Literate
• Understanding of Part-145.
• Understanding of continuous improvement philosophies.
• Understanding of EH&S practices and policies.
• Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations.
• Excellent Knowledge of logistic processes.
• Knowledge of organisational capabilities, privileges and limitations.
• Knowledge of the relevant parts of the maintenance organisation exposition and procedures.
• Knowledge of occurrence reporting systems (mandatory & internal) and the understanding of the importance of reporting occurrences, incorrect maintenance data and existing or potential side effects.
• Knowledge of safety risks linked to the working environment.
• Knowledge of Safety Mnanagement Systems and Just Culture.
• Knowledge of ESD when relevant


Desirable:-
• Have the right to work in the UK without restriction.
• Full UK driving license.
