Job Description
Zenon is delighted to be recruiting for an established Private Jet Charter Company who are looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Administrator to support the CFO in their new Flight Operations Division, based at their offices in Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Coordination:
o Manage financial aspects such as collating data for aircraft owner recharges, controlling customer recharges against costs, and ensuring all customer-related costs are invoiced.

Cash Flow Management:
o Plan and oversee cash flow operations, including weekly payment scheduling for suppliers based on flight schedules, coordination of currency balances (USD, EUR, and GBP), and monthly cash flow reporting.

Expense Handling:
o Collect invoices for credit card expenses, process credit cards, and employee expenses using the Sage financial system.

Accounting Tasks:
o Perform tasks related to prepayments, accruals, reconciliation, and entry of payments and receipts into the financial system, including bank reconciliation.

Support and Collaboration:
o Act as a backup for the accountant during absences, assist in reconciling intercompany transactions, prepare information for management accounts, support audits when necessary, and collaborate with various departments to foster efficient communication and business partnering.

Administrative Duties:
o Fulfill additional administrative responsibilities as required by the role.
The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Financial Accounting Knowledge:
o Basic knowledge of financial accounting to effectively handle financial tasks, such as cash flow planning, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Invoicing and Financial Software Proficiency:
o Proficiency in using financial software, particularly Sage, for tasks like processing credit card expenses, entering payments and receipts, and maintaining financial records is crucial.

Attention to Detail:
o Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail for collating data, reconciling transactions, and ensuring that all costs are accurately accounted for.

Communication Skills:
o Strong communication skills for collaborating with various departments, supporting Audits, and fostering effective communication within the company preferably in a customer-focused environment.

o Experience in the aviation industry is a plus but not mandatory. AAT qualification or progress towards a technical accounting certificate is also advantageous.
