Zenon’s Managing Director, Andrew Middleton, was invited to attend the official opening of Jet2.com’s brand new, state of the art, 32,232 sq ft training centre in Leeds.

The £9.5 million purpose built centre of excellence is the only one in the North of England and has been designed as a fully integrated Simulator and Cabin Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) training centre for both flight deck and cabin crew.

It contains three flight simulators, cabin crew trainer units, a high-tech Computer Based Training (CBT) room for pilots and fully equipped classrooms and briefing rooms. It will provide an unrivalled quality of training for both new recruits and the airline’s existing 579 pilots, 24 pilot apprentices and 960 cabin crew.

Invitees were present at an official ribbon cutting ceremony also attended by senior management of Jet2.com and the Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Roger L’Amie. The guests were also able to partake in an exhilarating simulator experience!

Zenon are proud to be recruiting for Jet2.com’s summer 2015 contracts across their fleet – if you are interested in applying or require any additional information, please email cassie.shaw@zenon.aero
